This Privacy Policy explains what information the Pill Mode mobile application ("Pill Mode", "the app", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Pill Mode app on iOS and Android.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your medication or health-related data for advertising.
We use the following providers, who process data on our behalf:
The free version of Pill Mode shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. Where consent for personalised advertising is required by law, it is collected through Google's consent framework before ads are shown. You can limit or reset ad tracking at any time through your device settings:
Buying the ad-free subscription removes advertising.
Pill Mode needs permission to send notifications, and on Android it schedules exact alarms, so that reminders arrive at the precise time you set. Reminders are the core function of the app; if you deny or revoke notification permission, the app cannot alert you when a dose is due. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. To delete your account and its associated data, email us at the address below from the address linked to your account and we will action the deletion. Once deletion is complete, your medication history, profiles, and photos are removed from our systems. Backups are purged on a rolling basis, normally within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated diagnostics may be retained.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on Google Cloud infrastructure with access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Pill Mode is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. A parent or guardian may use the app to manage medication for a child, in which case the adult is responsible for the information they enter. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your information may be processed on servers outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Pill Mode after a change means you accept the updated policy.
