Terms of Service

Pill Mode — medication reminder app
Effective date: 18 August 2026 · Last updated: 18 August 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Pill Mode mobile application. By downloading or using Pill Mode, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Health disclaimer. Pill Mode is a reminder tool, not a medical device or a healthcare service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Reminders depend on your device being powered on and correctly configured, and they can be delayed or missed for reasons outside our control — including battery-saver modes, notification permissions being revoked, device restarts, or operating system limits. Never rely on Pill Mode alone for medication that is critical to your health, and never use it in an emergency. Always follow the directions of your doctor or pharmacist.

1. Who may use Pill Mode

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires it, to use Pill Mode. If you manage medication for another person, such as a child or a family member, you confirm you are entitled to do so and are responsible for the information you enter about them.

2. Your account

Some features require an account, which you can create directly or through Google or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the information you put into Pill Mode — your medications, schedules, profiles, photos, and notes. You grant us only the permission needed to host, back up, and display that content so the app can work for you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, including dose amounts and timings.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Pill Mode is free to download and includes advertising. Optional paid features and subscriptions may be offered as in-app purchases.

6. Advertising

The free version displays ads supplied by Google AdMob. Where required by law we will ask for your consent before personalised advertising. See our Privacy Policy for detail.

7. Availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the app or any part of it. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pill Mode is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or that reminders will always be delivered on time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, nor for any missed, late, or duplicated medication reminder, nor for any health consequence arising from your use of or reliance on the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Termination

You may stop using Pill Mode at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and data by emailing us at the address below. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Pill Mode after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
